Almost perfect but what a looker!

"Very well built bag. Looks good. Zippers are amazing. Fits a surprising amount. The material is good looking and robust. The water bottle pocket managed to fit a 40oz rtic water bottle easily. The one issue for me is the lack of a dedicated spot for my laptop. My 14inch macbook pro fits standing up but it is not secure. Other that that, this bag is almost perfect for me. One thing to note, on delta newer non slanted 1st class, this bag will not fit under the seat. No surprise since most "under seat bag" won't fit anymore."

Excellent quality duffle bag. I

"Excellent quality duffle bag. I have not tried it under the airline seat yet but I compared it to my other bag for size and it should be good. The different compartments are well thought out."

— Perry P. (5/5)

Great product -

"I love the bag and the features of the bag. My only complaint is the bag slides off the top Of my Briggs and Riley suitcase . Even with is secured on the suitcase handle it slips to the side while I am walking through the airport so I continually seem to need to readjust it."

— Laura N. (4/5)

Love it!

"I recently purchased this duffle carry-on bag to pair with my Briggs and Riley 24” rolling suitcase as I planned a trip to Paris. It met all of my needs and then some. While I checked the suitcase for the flight, the duffle stayed with me and fit perfectly under my seat so that it was easily accessible during the flight. With 4 main compartments, I could easily store my iPad and accessories, snacks, misc small items, and a few pieces of clothing, etc. There is an inner zippered pocket within the largest compartment that is just the right size for medications and tissues. I’ve never had a duffle bag that was so easy to organize and held so much, but was also easy to carry around the airport."

— Mark W. (5/5)

Fits perfectly under the seat.

"Fits perfectly under the seat. Only problem is that the opening that fits on a roller board is too big and it slides off the top of the suitcase sometimes if you’re not careful. So just an annoyance."

— Victor A. (4/5)

Great International Under Seat Solution

"It’s a bit larger than some carriers allow but if not overfilled it will fit all. The quality is excellent and the warranty is exceptional. If you’re looking for a bag you all love using for 10+ years, this is the brand to choose."

— Kenneth F. (5/5)

Flight Attendant Fave

"Absolutely beautiful piece. As a flight attendant, I am very particular about the luggage that I carry and decided to treat myself to a really nice Briggs and Riley set for my birthday. I love the monogramming option. Very classy. Have you several other high-end brands, but did not mind investing into the pieces here that I purchased"

— Carrington C. (5/5)

Underseat Duffle

"It arrived at my doorstep within 2 or 3 days of ordering, thank you. Outstanding service. Am really happy with all the compartments. Quick access to passport, wallet, phone when traveling through airports. Easy enough to carry in hand when in taxis or trains or walking through airports. Well-constructed and sturdy. The only thing I found is that you have to squish it down under the seat ahead of you in a Boeing Dreamliner. It doesn't quite fit fully upright under the seat ahead. Perhaps that more of a comment on the Dreamliner than on the Duffle. Loved it."

— Kelly C. (5/5)

737 Pilot approved

"Perfect bag for a 737 pilot, especially a commuter. Fits everywhere perfectly and a ton a useful space. Best one I’ve used during my 20 year career."

— Daniel C. (5/5)

Underseat Duffle

"Fits great on top of my carry on, and fits under the seat on Delta. Great piece to have."

Q&A

Does this actually fit under airline seats or not? The description says it does, but many reviewers indicate it does not. Which is it?: Hi Jeremy, Thank you for contacting Briggs & Riley. Underseat sizing can vary by airline and may change over time, which can make it a bit tricky when selecting the right bag. Based on the dimensions, this particular style may be slightly wider than what some airlines allow for under seat placement. We always recommend checking directly with your airline for their most current guidelines to ensure the best fit for your travel needs.
What is the size of the padded laptop pocket? have a 15” laptop and I want to be sure it’ll fit…: Good Afternoon Janice, Thank you for contacting Briggs & Riley. The size of the laptop area is 6.6" x 9.4" x .24"
Can you tell me what the dimensions are of the main duffle storage area without any of the extra exterior pocket areas included.: Good Morning Kim, Thank you for contacting Briggs & Riley. The size of that area is 13.5" x 9" deep x 10.5" high.
What are the two small loops on either side of the luggage pass through?: Good Morning Tim, Those loops are part of the design of the bag, they are not actually open, they are part of the main bag area.
What is the width of the opening on the slip-through back panel? I have this bag and the opening is too big so the underseat bag slips off my carryon.: Good Afternoon, Thank you for contacting Briggs & Riley. This should be 9"
