"Over the last six months I’ve added both a 21 inch spinner (international) and a 22 inch spinner (domestic) spinner to my folding suit bag. The last piece I needed was the backpack, which I also purchased. The quality of all four pieces is outstanding. I was on a flight recently, spoke with a world traveler and then took my 21 incher down from overhead. He immediately said “that’s a Briggs & Riley isn’t it?” “Yes,” I said. He said “I wouldn’t travel with anything else. ” I responded, “I don’t either now. ”"

Great bag!
"Solid, and provides a little more protection than soft side luggage. Shame that B&R discontinued this line of bags. I was set to purchase a couple more in the set."

Excellent small case
"This is an ideal small suitcase. The only major downside I’ve discovered relates to the very good wheels: they’re so smooth that you have to keep a hand on the case on slopes to stop it wandering off on its own."

Not ideal
"The mini spinner seems like a good idea, but the front pocket barely fits anything. I put my laptop in there with a couple cables and still couldn’t shut the front. It bellows out on the bottom. Not functional. I plan to exchange it"

"I bought the original Brigss and Riley version of this back in 2015 and it’s been brilliant. It’s still going but I decided to treat myself to a new one. Love it!"

Disappointed
"Disappointed that this model doesn’t have Briggs & Riley’s signature external trolley bar design, the main reason I chose this brand. I understood their patented bars sit outside the case rather than inside, freeing up interior space and creating a flat top surface for stacking other bags. But mine arrived with standard internal bars, just like non-B&R luggage. This was a big letdown since it was my main reason for buying. I’d strongly encourage Briggs & Riley to make it clearer on product pages which models actually include the external trolley bar design, since it’s easy for customers to assume it’s a brand-wide standard when it isn’t. I’d also appreciate guidance on whether there’s a comparable model in your line that does have this feature, so I can consider an exchange."

Durable, lovely color, practical
"The Briggs & Riley brand and their products are true to their word. They are durable, sturdy, and practical for short trips. I appreciate the ease in rolling on hard surfaces (rolling on carpet requires more torque as it drags slightly), the inside zipper compartment helps with packing cubs, separating clothing, or finding oddities quickly, the exterior pockets secured by lock is useful for identification, charger cords or snack, and the firm handle adjusts in height. The color combination is also cool. To easily find at baggage claim, and to blaze your path in the airport with a nifty colorway, I recommend choosing a non-black color. This is the third Torq carry-on suitcase I have purchased in 5 years. The other two remain reliable, so it was not a replace, simply an addition to the collection. Since learning about Briggs & Riley 12 years ago, I have remained loyal. The lifetime guarantee, their continual product enhancements, and reliability are why I keep coming back. My initial thought was the lifetime guarantee was a gimmick- 'is this really true' or 'why would a company forever repair a product at no cost'. For me, what happens is you enjoy their product so much, you give away suitcases, still in great condition, to family or friends so they can experience it, and you purchase yourself a new one. Or you replace your previous lower quality suitcases. Luggage can easily be an after thought. Once you test and use B&R, you realize the difference in quality, craft, and peace of mind (in that you are not hoping the zipper remains on, it does not sustain damage if you or others drop it, and there is no substantial wear and tear even after years). Lastly, I believe the Torq has been discontinued. I recommend their newer, similar models that expand. Or locating a used Torq. Happy travels"

Smooth roller
"I purchased the Briggs & Riley Domestic 22" Carry-On Spinner for a business trip to London, and it performed flawlessly. It fit easily in the overhead bins on Virgin Atlantic with no issues, which made boarding and traveling stress-free. The standout feature is the wheels. They are incredibly smooth and glide effortlessly through the airport, making it easy to navigate busy terminals. The suitcase is also surprisingly lightweight while still feeling exceptionally well built. Although I've only used it for one international trip so far, my first impression couldn't be better. The quality and attention to detail are exactly what I was hoping for from Briggs & Riley. Based on this experience, I would absolutely buy it again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium carry-on for business or personal travel."

Like it, but it lacks space
"Just received this suitcase and took it on two trips - one domestic, one international. I have a rimowa carry on that Is about the same size, and this one definitely feels smaller in terms of what it can carry. Mostly, that’s because the front “easy access” panel takes space from inside, whereas I think the rimowa sorta juts out for its exterior access pocket. I also don’t love the latch that holds the front panel open - it’s top center, so if you really try to jam anything into that area, the front cover flexes and bulges at the top corners. Not sure how they would have engineered it differently, but it feels like it really could benefit from two latches, not one. Inside, the side that faces the exterior pocket has far less space and was designed as a mini-suiter - it works I suppose, but you can only pack flat, loose clothing there vs the packing cubes I use on the other side. Also worth noting that the charging port and cable are USB-A… which is a debatable choice considering the widespread adoption of USB-C at this point… Aside from all of that - it’s light, rolls easily, is different than most cases I see (bonus for keeping folks from grabbing it accidentally). Not getting rid of it - I’ll keep it, but I’m just not totally in love."
